of whole frozen fish, we have now extended our range of marine products to over 30
varieties, ranging from Silver, Black and Chinese Pomfrets, to Croaker, Ribbon fish,
Seer fish, Squids, Cuttle fish, all kinds of Prawns, and a host of others. All kinds of
Fish and Prawns are procured from the pollution free waters of the west coast of India. We
have has sourcing arrangements at each of the major fish landing centres directly with
fishing trawlers, retained on contract. The fresh fish is carefully iced and
transported by insulated vans to the factory, to retain its freshness. And in our
commitment to providing frozen marine products in their freshest state, we have set up
five processing and freezing plants at strategic locations near the major fish landing
centres.These processing plants (two in Bombay and one each in Veraval and Dwarka) and a
new state-of-the-art factory at Calcutta on the East coast of India, have a total
freezing capacity of 400 tons per day, and cold storage capacity of 25,000 MT.

Each of the
processing plants is equipped with sophisticated technology, the latest fish processing
machinery, contact freezers, blast freezers, I.Q.F freezers and chiller storages, and
highly qualified technical personnel. This chain of processing facilities is already
growing larger with three more such units on the anvil. Today the quantity processed
is more than 15,000 MT per season, supplied in bulk, retail and consumer packs.
